It is a pleasure for me to announce that Youth Exchange 3.1 project “Human is the reason, human is the answer” was approved. I would like to kindly invite you and express my high expectations for our ongoing cooperation. D-KLUB in association with Be International and Student Section of International Institute of Political Science (SS IIPS) feel delighted to welcome you in the Czech Republic in March.
The project will bring together four different countries – Georgia, Turkey, Armenia and the Czech Republic – and 21 people from completely different backgrounds to discuss the main values of EU – respect for human rights and democracy. It provides a space for multicultural exchange and discussion about relations between the project countries, considering the human rights issue as well. Deeply concerned about participating NGOs and people who have been parts of them; it is a big honour for me to welcome in Brno such a wonderful, diverse and respectful group of people. Every participant is a brilliant human indeed and we appreciate it.

APV meeting – 19th – 21th February, 2010
Project date: 14th – 23rd March, 2010
Activities:
Activities will be divided into 3 main areas. At the beginning of the project mainly workshops and seminars are going to take place. First of all we are going to focus on integration of participants and creating a tangible familiar background for future activities. Ice-breakers and name games will help us. Following workshops and seminars are going to treat of human rights, democracy, European integration, breaking of stereotypes and active participation of young people. All workshops and seminars are going to take place in the Centre of free time Lužánky. It is a beautiful building offering lots of nice seminar-rooms, situated in the centre of the biggest park in Brno, about 4 minutes by walking from the play where we are going to stay.
The second part of activities is created by meetings with organization and institutions which are dealing with project topics. We will visit the capital Prague and lots of other interesting places.
The last block of activities has been developed in cooperation with SS IIPS and is going to support and encourage one of the main ideas of the project. We would like to inform young students more detailed about situation in Turkey, Armenia and Georgia. We will provide an interaction between participants and local students through 3 days of discussions, debates and others. One of the discussed topics could be conflicts, democracy and nation building, current situation and problems which have appeared in local communities in last decades.

Accommodation:
Accommodation will be provided by Fléda (the Brno cultural centre and the best movie and music club in Brno indeed - http://fleda.cz/). Here is the link for its hostel website: http://www.hostelfleda.com/en/. Actually it was quite hard to find a proper place to stay near the centre which would fit into our budget. I think we manage it quite well and the place is going to be just fun :-)
Food:
No worries, believe us, there will be something to eat for sure :-)
